[FactCheck] How Do Shincheonji Churh of Jesus Have Religious Lives These Days? (Feat. the novel Coronavirus infectious disease)

 

 

  The novel Coronavirus infectious disease (COVID-19) has passed about 5 months. In early April, the confirmed patients of COVID-19 increased in Asia, Europe and U.S.A., and now it looks like a decreasing trend but there are lots of patients all over the world. Also the COVID-19 has spreaded in Africa where the virus did inactively. World Health Organization (WHO) raised the level of the virus to pandemic. The world are more cautious about it, and the virus has made lots of patients and fatalities.

 

  The number of daily patients in Korea has declined by a single or double figures, but still people should be careful because the virus could spread someday. So the Korean government has encouraged the social distance, and hand sanitisers and masks should be in places where many people gather. Then in the situation, how do Shincheonji believers have religious lives? Let's see the fact! 

 

  Many Shincheonji members were infected of COVID-19 centering around “Patient 31,” which causes many citizens to have secondary infection. Shincheonji Church of Jesus mentioned a grave apology and a active cooperation under quarantine requests of the government about this at the press conference, and actually Shincheonji has conducted according all of these. But many political maneuvers and baseless slanders hurt Shincheonji congregants and even deepened family troubles, which leads some deaths. To mention again, Shincheonji did not create the virus and bring it from China. Some Shincheonji members have the virus unfortunately living under the policy of the government. I hope readers should know it. Shincheonji became a wrongful scapegoat. 

  

 

  Nevertheless, Shincheonji Church cooperates to contain the COVID-19. Though the period of compulsive shutdown by the government passed, Shincheonji Church of Jesus expanded the period and restrained gatherings and worship service autonomously. It is the policy to restrain until the COVID-19 is ended. Really, some large churches in South Korea have worship services by gathering many people, there is no church which cooperate to quarantine like Shincheonji Church. Other large churches enforced worship services under administrative injunction to restrict the services or had the services as soon as the social distancing was relieved.

 

  By the way, if a believer, he or she should take a worship service. So Shincheonji has conducted online worship services. In each place, Shincheonji believers keep their mind by the online services. Shincheonji also teaches the importance of the word through worships, because the word of God is a life in John 1:1. And now when Revelation is fulfilled, the most importance is to print the fulfillment of the prophecy of Revelation on each’s mind, so its congregants do by studying Revelation. The congregants have their lives limiting gatherings and evangelism.

 

 

  I also feel thankful to God during listening the word of worship. As the New Testament is fulfilled, God will be with the place promised according to the Bible. The people who engrave the word of the New Testament in their minds are called as the sealed people, and God will be with the sealed people and bless to them. It is written on Revelation. I am so thankful to God to realize Revelation and to have a worship service in the place where the prophecy is fulfilled. I will try to learn the word of Revelation like other congregants.

 

  The COVID-19 outbreak killed many people and the world got a big trouble. I hope a medicine of COVID-19 is made and the outbreak is ended. Also I wish the economy returns back to normal, and all people have normal lives. Let’s pray to God more!
