Shincheonji Volunteer Group, Samgyetang Serves to Old People living Alone in the Heavy Rain

 The Suwon branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group said that they delivered Samgyetang to the old living alone through “The Pink Cloth Delivering warmth” on last 26th.

 

  Although heavy rain warnings were issued for the first time this year in Suwon and most of Gyeonggi Province, they visited the homes of senior citizens living alone to check their health conditions and deliver the boiled Samgyetang.

 The volunteer group is visiting the underprivileged neighbor once a month through "The Pink Cloth Delivering warmth." The service was conducted for the old with the welfare center.

 "I only wait a month for the volunteer group to visit me," said an elderly woman who was delivered Samgyetang. "I’m so thankful to think how much they will sweat when they boil Samgyetang on this hot day."

 "We will continue to serve our underprivileged neighbors with love to carry out the Bible saying, 'Love your neighbor as yourself,' said the head of the Suwon branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group.
