The Korean Prosecution Revealed Shincheonji Church of Jesus Had No Suspicion about Submitting the List (In Regards to the Novel Coronavirus, COVID-19)
 

 

  The Korean Supreme Prosecutors’ Office revealed that Shincheonji did not omit its congregants through digital forensic data analysis at the 17th of Mar., 2019. Shincheonji Church of Jesus argued its innocence from the first, but some politicians and media outlets led the people to be spilt and confused by their instigation and fake news.

 

   Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji) provided the Korean Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) to the list about its whole congregants to contain the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). However, some governors and several media outlets insisted the suspicion, “Shincheonji Submits False Data,” and moreover the Korean Minister of Justice argued the compulsory investigation against Shincheonji. As the result, the Korean Supreme Prosecutors’ Office did the administration investigation against Shincheonji.

 

   According to the prosecution on March 17, there was no difference by comparing the lists between the forensic analysis from the prosecution and the data from the administration investigation against the headquarter of Shincheonji by the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters to establish the suspicion.

 

   The forensic team of the Korean Supreme Prosecutors’ Office sent the result from the analysis on internal server of Shincheonji to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters. The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters compared the data from the prosecution to the data that Shincheonji provided to the Korean government and considered the necessity of the compulsory investigation against Shincheonji including a seizure and search. As a result, the list of whole congregants from Shincheonji and the list from forensic analysis by the prosecution had no difference.

 

No One Listened to Shincheonji’s Explanation on its Suspicion
 

 

   Shincheonji has explained, “the local governments and KCDC caused improper admisitration because each had the different criteria list.” and “It is naturally different from the list based on the each tribe and the list based on residence.” whenever the governors of Seoul City, Gyeonggi-do including Daegu City insisted that Shincheonji omitted part on its congregants.

     

   By this investigation of the prosecution, Shincheonji’s explanation is true and, the other way, the governors were awkward who manipulated the media as “Cult,” “Epicenter of COVID-19” and insisted the compulsory investigation.

 

   Since “Patient 31” was confirmed on February 18 and a mass infection from Shincheonji’s Daegu Church was verified, Shincheonji has been a hot topic on cult, not COVID-19, the essence of the situation.

 

   This has been caused by some politicians including the governors who want people’s attention and political support, and by the witch hunt against Shincheonji from some slanders belonging to the Christian Council of Korea which calls Shincheonji as cult. The results were that 2 Shincheonji congregants were dead, thousands were going through divorces, and thousands were on the verge of dismissal.

 

    The prosecution's investigation revealed that Shincheonji was cooperating with the government in material and human supports. Nor should there be a witch-hunt religious oppression away from the issue of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Don't be fooled by false news and look at the facts and the truth.
