Who wrote Genesis?

Main Figures and Events of the Genesis
The main figures of Genesis are Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. Adam had a sin and got dead by eating the fruit from the tree of evil and violating God’s word. Noah believed in God’s warning of flood judgement and made an ark to save his house. Abraham obeyed God’s order to offer his son, Isaac, as a brunt offering. Isaac was deceived by Jacob and blessed him, not his eldest son, Esau. Jacob was given the name of Israel and had 12 sons, because he wrestled with an angel and won. In Joseph’s time, Israel(’s people) went into the land of Egypt from Canaan through Joseph.
Genesis, the beginning of the Old Testament, is a story centering people who promised with God, from Adam to Joseph. Knowing who had God’s covenant, what the covenants were, and what the consequences were is the first step toward the 39 books of the Old Testament.
