Shincheonji Held “Online Prayer Meeting” for Containing COVID-19

All Shincheonji congregation participated in the prayer meeting for the governments, medical staffs, patients, the bereaved families, and all citizens around the world.

  Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, held the online prayer meeting for containing the novel coronavirus infectious disease (COVID-19).

  Shincheonji Church of Jesus had “The Online Prayer Meeting for Containing COVID-19 with All Congregation” in the online Wednesday worship service, September 2nd. They prayed for the governments, medical staffs, patient, the bereaved families, and citizens who are concentrating on their efforts on quarantine. This prayer meeting was broadcast live on the Internet and All 200,000 congregants participated.

  Shincheonji Church of Jesus organized the prayer meeting to help overcome the extreme fatigue of the health authorities and medical staffs as COVID-19 patients have increased again recently, and the growing economic and social difficulties of the people.

  On that day, there were six prayer titles for ▲the government and medical staffs working for quarantine, ▲all citizens with difficulties of COVID-19, ▲the development of the treatment of COVID-19, ▲the crimes that we had or will have, and we don’t know yet.

  The prayer meeting was held by the suggestion of ManHee Lee, the Chairman of Shincheonji Church, with the large-scale re-expansion of COVID-19 in August. Shincheonji Church said the prayer would continues until the end of COVID-19.

  Since the beginning of the spread of COVID-19 in February this year, Shincheonji Church has been praying for the end of COVID-19, the safety of quarantine officials and medical staff, and the recovery of patients.

  "In order to contatin COVID-19, we need to embrace, love and unite the entire citizens," Shincheonji Church said. "We believe that God will respond to earnest prayers by our adding the power of prayer to reduce the pain and suffering of health officials, medical staffs, and patients."
