[BIBLE STUDY GUIDE] The Figurative Bowl, Scale, and RodINTRODUCTORY LEVEL _ 6SHINCHEONJI ONLINE SEMINAR

We are believers who wish for the same heaven, even though our doctrines and doctrines are different. Let us be blessed by the word of God. If you are a saint who wishes for heaven, you will want to reach heaven according to the word of Jesus.

Jesus promised the secrets of heaven through metaphor, so let's learn about figurative Bowl, Scale, and Rod in the Bible at this time. Let's see the answer first.

1. Bowl: person

2. Scale: the word

3. Rod: the word or person

Let's take a look about figurative bowl.

Revelation 15:7

Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.

It is said that the seven angels were taken seven gold bowls, which means they got the word. If the bowl in the text is a real bowl, how can it contain the word of God? It is a different meaning compared to the real bowl.

A real bowl is a tool to contain something. The use of a bowl varies depending on the something.

Romans 9:21~24

21Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?

22What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath-prepared for destruction?

23What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory-

24even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

It is said that the bowls are us and we are called. God, an earthenware potter, creates people, bowls.

It is said that Jesus chose Paul the selected bowl. In other words, he chose a person for his missionary to convey the word of God to others.

Next, let's look at the kind of bowls. There are two bowls in the Bible. One is God's and another is Satan's. The appearance of the bowl is not important, and the content determines the bowl. No matter how expensive a bowl is, it becomes a garbage container if trash is in it.

God's bowl is a person who has the word of God, and Satan's bowl is a person who does not have the word of God. What kind of the words do we have? We should reflect on ourselves whether we are the bowls having the word of God.

Matthias 23:25~26

25'Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.

26Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.

Jesus said to the law and Pharisees, "The outside is clean, but the inside is full of greed and dissipation." The bowl on the outside looks fine, but Jesus expressed it in this way because there is no word of God inside and only greed.

If you already have something else in the bowl, you can't put anything else in it. Wouldn't it be possible to fill the word of God only if we first cast away what is inside us?

Let's become a person who realizes the word of God through this video.
