The conference with pastors and reporters was held in Feb., 25th by pastors' request who attended Shincheonji seminars and connected with Shincheonji for MOU.
Chairman Manhee Lee, who led the Revelation seminars, has attended online press conferences and several meetings for inviting of pastors and the press from the Philippines, America, Africa, and Europe since January. This is the first time in Korea.
The pastors in this conference signed MOU after listening to the world's first seminar on Youtube in 24 languages for a total of 10wks from Oct., 18 to Dec., 27 last year.
Recently, education conducted by Shincheonji has led to an explosive response, with more than 11 million Youtube views of Revelation and introductory seminars. Now, the number of pastors who signed the MOU is about 1900. After the MOU, Shincheonji Church of Jesus has dispatched instructors and provided textbooks at the request of each church and seminary.
◆ The church, Fast-growing
The hot topic in the day was "fast-growing Shincheonji." A reporter asked why Shincheonji is growing rapidly while other churches are declining.
Chairman Lee mentioned first the importance of talk between believers through Isaiah 1, and then summarized the answers in 2 ways. He said, "Now is the time of fulfillment, not prophecy," and "You need two, if you have real faith. First is God's help and second is the word of truth and the physical fulfillment."
Other reporter questioned why many theologists and pastors had explained the meaning of Revelation differently over the past years. Chairman Lee told the process of unraveling the meaning of Revelation first. Jesus takes sealed Revelation and unravels it, and the physical fulfillment appears during his unraveling, and there is a person who see that. According to Rev 22:16, Jesus asks the person to testify what he saw.
He also said, "Revelation is God's, not people's. Not only prophecy but also fulfillment are necessary for faith. If a pastor has not them, he or she is liar in front of believers and God."
Another reporter questioned additionally to define "cult."
The chairman affirmed, "It is out of the word of God. Having same truth is not cult. In other words, the meaning out of the standard of the Bible is cult."
Meanwhile, Chairman Manhee Lee is 92 years old this year, established Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony in 1984 under revelation of heaven. Currently, he has lectured Online Bible seminar and introductory education, the key to solve the secrets of heaven.
